The massive task of vaccinating the population has begun today. As well as expressing thanks and appreciation to those who developed the vaccine(s), we thank too those who have arranged the delivery and distribution and will be administering the programme and the actual needle-in-the-arm bit. There will be anomalies and hiccoughs, some people will complain loudly about something or other, but everyone is doing their best, and many are already exhausted after almost a year of contending with Coronavirus
Lord, thank you for all who are involved in the vaccination process. Help us all to be patient until our turn comes, and for everyone to recognise the need for continuing vigilance and care to avoid spreading infection
